"It works!" My favorite phrase after spend some time focused on coding, connecting stuff when finally small letters are printed on the screen, sensor lights blink or beautifull graphs appear. I have five years experience working on Software Engineering, and I am specializing in Bioinformatics. I have a keen interest in I+D, and product development in order to help humanity with diseases and enhace health using smart algorithms, machine learning tools, etc.

My first practical experience, was on a project of Dark Matter experiment in Spain. Colaborating with the University of Zaragoza, the astroparticle and theorical laboratory hold the TPCs for Rare Event Experiments TREX - Dark Matter Experiment T-REX stands for "TPCs for Rare Event eXperiments". The goal of the T-REX project is to develop novel particle detectors with higher potential to search for “Rare Events” in astroparticle physics experiments. We call “Rare Events” to particle physics phenomena that have a very low rate of occurrence, usually linked with new physics at the frontier of our current knowledge. Examples are the detection of Dark Matter particles, like WIMPs or axions in terrestrial experiments, or physics associated with the elusive neutrinos. My role in the experiment procedure is developing some modules as well as a web application for quick data visualization and quick data analysis for the observations of the experiment.
Bioinformatics is my main interest, especifically geriatrics and memory diseases. I´ve been researching about this on my own and decided to study in Hellenic Open University, in order gain deeper knowledge on this area. Untill now, I have been able to work on graphs representing protein networks, and math modeling of cellular system. Currenty, I practice image processing to analyse brain biosignatures using ML techniques. Current thematic units: Mathematical Modelling in Biology (Octave) Neurobiology and Modeling of Cellular Systems (R) Recording and Processing of Neural Biosignatures Biological Data Base Design and Programming Languages Algorithms in Molecular Biology and Structural Bioinformatics Biomedical Technology and Medical Imaging Systems
My first studies was in Greece, university of Peloponesse, where took place my first contact with Information Technology. Data bases, programming languages, maths, networks, management of technological projects are some of the main subjects in the faculty. Through the studies I got the chance to travel in Europe and have an one year experience of Erasmus internship. My thesis was a real world application using RFID technology to develop a mobile app used to assist medical support to elders.
IoT comunication protocols like MQTT,HTTP,Serial. Extract data from sensors like NFC, Distance Sensors, Presential sensor, Cameras and other hardware used for the product. I've been desinging the architecture, connecting various hardware and software. Integrating apps in projects using REST APIs with JSON and sockets. Testing the product, administrating Git repositories, upload to produccion.
A system to control the capacity of people in stores. Obtein data from a sensor through HTTP, and turn green or red a traffic light and show the correct information on the screens.
Smart lockers used to pick up products from the lockers using an application. Clients can buy online and then go to pick up their stuff using a code previously sent to their phone.
"The medApp" This is an AAL (ambient assisted living) application and its design is based in a real world problem. Its goal is to support elder people by providing them information and reminding them taking their medicine in right way on time. Each medicine contains an RFID tag. There is a mobile app to control the schedule, send notifications to take a medicine and monitors the correct use of them. Any action related to medicine is identified and triggers the whole system in appropriate operations.
A vending machine to sell small stuff. The machine has a screen interface for the selection of product, payment etc. And motors for the dropping of the product and other sensors.
